David started in the financial services industry in 1998 and has worked with individuals, institutions, and corporations. In 2009 he and his business partner formed their own firm Swaine & Leidel Wealth services where David serves as a Partner. Their firm is an SEC Registered Investment Advisory firm and David spends his time working with rollover clients and corporate entities.
Like many professionals, David willingly gives time back to others. He currently sits on four boards and has a very lengthy history of board service. His experience ranges from boards that have annual budges under $1,000,000 to serving on the Finance Committee and as an ad hock board member of a quasi government board with an annual budget of over $300,000,000. In addition to his board service, David has served his local community through various service organizations. He is also an Honorably Discharged Veteran of the famed 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army where he was an Airborne Infantry Soldier and Paratrooper.
While most of the working hours require David to be inside, he prefers the chance to get outside and enjoy the outdoors. Some of his favorite past times are hunting, fishing, and water sports but he is also an accomplished runner. Half marathons are a comfortable distance, but David has done several longer races and challenge runs. The longest being the "Goofy Challenge" at Disney World. This two day event includes a half marathon on Saturday and a full marathon on Sunday for a total of 39.3 miles in two days.
